just a note for gamers though: you cannot share steam games installed on NTFS drives between windows and linux because Windows has no concept of linux file permissions and SteamLinux gets v angry if they aren't there. you'll want to move those games to your linux drive

You can play by using "play as a non steam game" at least from my experience But I'm pretty sure NTFS is also pretty slow on Linux (speaking from my experience) Overall indeed don't use NTFS drives for games
