Been a while since I did one of these.

I'm forever on the hunt for a #ttrpg system that handle space opera style sci-fi and sci-fantasy campaigns with the same level of fidelity and detail that Shadowrun handles cyberpunk. As much as I love Traveller and Mothership, they're just not quite crunchy enough.

I'm a bit disappointed in the Discworld #ttrpg that's on Kickstarter right now; I read through the quickstart and while their heart's in the right place, the system is eye-wateringly bad. I actually think this would have been a great place to use PbtA mechanics, and I'm not a PbtA fan at all.

You ever get good news on a thing that's been bothering you for weeks, and get dizzy as all of the stress just releases at once? That's where I'm at right now. I had to get screened for Barrett's Esophagus, and thankfully the labs came back negative.

I have a faint suspicion that I've been dropped by the therapist I've been working with since 2019. We had to skip a week due to scheduling problems, and they told me they'd call as soon as they had an opening available. That was in August.
