There really isn't enough done for respite, home support, and pain management at the end of life. To alleviate those stresses for all would be life changing. I remember so well what you and your mom had to face as you cared for Momo.

I’ve made my peace with the fact that if my mother ever needs full time care, I’ll have to get as many grants etc I can & keep her home. Nursing home care would mean me taking out a loan on the house. And no guarantee I’d get her a nursing home locally. Or a good one. Elder care is a crap shoot
