Yesterday, it took me approximately 5 seconds of searching to find an inflammatory anti-Rohingya video from extremist Burmese monk Ashin Wirathu on a publicly-available (IE, no log-in required) Facebook page. Facebook has not fixed their genocide-enabling hate speech problem.

One reason "why" is because the COVID vaccine showed the immense power of years-long government investment into academic scientific research. The tech bros simply could not square that fact with their rigid libertarian ideology; it broke their brains so badly they became antivax.
