you know, i think i want to start fresh with social media mainly to like. nurture and heal my relationship with drawing/creating art. idk if trying a new social platform will do that, but it seems like a good opportunity to try...
I really dislike the term Content for creative works. It feels so devaluing for all the love and care that goes into an artwork, animation, song, essay... Your work isn't "just stuff to fill the internet" á la Content. There's so much beauty in acknowledging your hard work with their proper names ❤️
I like artists that have multiple drawings in one page, that's always really really cool. Like fill up that page, play with the composition and sizing, delight mine eyes
I should really finish this… I’ve got a different pose on a different piece I might also finish.
I want to follow every artist I can but also it's incredibly taxing on my sanity to sift through hundreds of pics and chasing follows... On Twitter I fell into that habit and realized I wasn't able to appreciate the art properly because I'd give it a glance, bookmark it, and go on to the next one
I draw slow not because I actually draw slowly but because I can only draw for short periods of time during random hours on random days whenever my brain allows me 🤡
Artists are so powerful. They're like "I will draw this cute little nightmarish dude" and then they draw the cute little nightmarish dude!! Amazing.
we’re trying this again because i miss when art mattered on a platform
