I did my first ever rewatch (since its original run) about 5 years ago. It’s a legitimate miracle this show survived past the first season. (Season 2 is better than its reputation, but the quality is all over the place.)

What's wild is that the show was an immediate hit (in syndication, no less), then just never really slumped and, indeed, started building on its ratings in the third season.
