Exactly. Balance is everything.

I live in France and own and run a gite. France has strict rules around amounts of holiday accommodation in one area. When limits are reached, that's it. I'm in a village with two other holiday lets one of which is luxury end. Second homes are rare but not unheard of, mainly Parisians.

It was very small. I'd estimate about 4 foot wide and five foot long. Very, very dark inside for obvious reasons. Could be either claustrophobic or beautifully cosy. I found it fascinating. Like a little nestbox.

Mine is very similar but I add cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg.

I love that book.

I only have one stomach, sadly which limits things.😅 But....last night I had fish and chips from Brixton and sat on this bench.
