Exactly. Balance is everything.
I live in France and own and run a gite. France has strict rules around amounts of holiday accommodation in one area. When limits are reached, that's it. I'm in a village with two other holiday lets one of which is luxury end. Second homes are rare but not unheard of, mainly Parisians.
I'm a huge believer in a modern day monastic-type life. A quiet, reserved life without pressures, simple cooking, a haven from forced smiles and positivity. Authentic emotions not only permitted, but encouraged. Daily tasks and learning. Being with like minded folk.
The stuff of nightmares. RIP.
Awful news.
It really was and yes, no doors for me thanks!
It was very small. I'd estimate about 4 foot wide and five foot long. Very, very dark inside for obvious reasons. Could be either claustrophobic or beautifully cosy. I found it fascinating. Like a little nestbox.
It's that time of the morning when G and I start hedging our bets on which one will get up and make the tea first.
I do hope Sandford Police make their way over here soon. Their presence is required.
