Lovely old stroll this morning along the towpath T&M - 4 miles. Some peril with the mud. Decided to hold phone and film despite being terrified of falling in! #riskinglifeandlimb
… 14 hrs later. Completed the Mond Mausoleum portion of the day with friends old and new. Wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Then repaired to a pub in East Finchley and battled the rail network back home again - feet up !!
Largin’ it at the Kirkby Gallery tonight to see a preview of the wonderful work by #anthonyratcliffe. My pal Charlie Linton having to chauffeur me about because I’d forgotten to bring my car!
At National Museum of Scotland in time for them opening the doors (hard core). Straight on to roof terrace for views of sunny Edinburgh! Off to see John Hegley at 1.30. Home tomorrow before people think I’ve left the country (technically I have) - just in time for work on Tues. aaargh!!
Great way to spend #nationacameraday#runcorn taking part in @analoguewonderland national event. Obviously the film camera pics aren’t as instant as these taken with my phone and it remains to be seen if I’ve got 36 blurred exposures! In me element :)
Northwich to Middlewich and back along the #trentandmerseycanal - not so much a bike ride as a sponsored swear. Tree roots have been my undoing. Grass, a bit of mud and overhanging trees also. As the grass on my right side was looming up I did an Olga Korbut dismount which am sure was ungainly!
