B and I are celebrating 25 years together later this month and it sometimes amazes me that most of the time we remember not to use our indoor slang with normal outdoor people. One time we went on an organised walk on holiday and a German couple came up after and asked where we were from because they thought English at first but they couldn't understand half of what we said to each other 🤣
