They over-corrected after Pence. Pence was so offline that he didn’t recognize what the weirdos really wanted him to do on J6. Vance is so online that he thinks of no other constituents other than anon. They needed someone with the look of a normie politico but the morals of Nick Fuentes.

Trump and Vance are certainly arrogant and undisciplined and, IMHO, ignorant; but I wonder—are they merely following a desperate devious strategy to hold onto their base?

JD Vance and Donald Trump deserve each other. But America does not deserve either of them. So millions are working hard to elect Kamala Harris and toss Trump Vance into the trash.

"Being totally undisciplined" is the society that Republican voters want for themselves only. They are severely allergic to the concept of consequences for their poor choices.

This. The "Well it brought attention to the 'issue', so it's justified in the end" has been making it's way through the right wing griftfotainment spaces over the past week. It's coordinated messaging and whether it's the suits or the fringe driving it, they both should be disqualifying.

It's weird, though. Josh or Matty recently "praised" Vance for his Machiavellianist streak, his willingness to do anything for power. His bubble must have shrunk a lot for him to think this vicious, desperate play will keep him in the public eye.

I don't think he is ignorant so much, as he is evil.
