By the looks of it, it will have changed the landscape completely in places. My experience of flooding & storm damage is nowhere near that scale and that was bad enough.

In the TV series Ripley, a man glances at this picture for about 3 seconds maybe less. I simply could not carry on watching. I took a photo of the tv screen and then hunted it down. Wasn’t easy. Found it, bought a print, framed it expensively. Found peace.
The vaulted door opened and in we went. A small group. Instinctively I hung back a bit to slow down my visit. My head swapped the lighting for a flickering flame, the stillness for a draft. Now, in low light, I could see the beasts on the wall moving. Glowing in the darkness. A revelation 🦣
