Made it. 7.8 km with very littlet 12 km traffic. Called to the shop for snacks. Bit of a northerly wind which is fine for get out of Schull harbour. We turn left and head east for about 12 km. In theory. .. #Kayak#WestCork

So I had notions of posting as I went. That didn’t workout. The wind was up a bit more for the first ~5km. Head on for 3 of those, just enough to slow things down a bit. Which would have been fine had I not needed, to avoid a long walk, to get into the estuary & then the pier on the high tide.
