Made it. 7.8 km with very littlet 12 km traffic. Called to the shop for snacks. Bit of a northerly wind which is fine for get out of Schull harbour. We turn left and head east for about 12 km. In theory. .. #Kayak#WestCork

The western end of Horse Island ‘sits’ on the rolling swell as the tide recedes into the evening.
In the previous photo there’s a plateau on the profile of the island. Just visible from that distance are some caves. This is one of those caves below the plateau with a kayaker at the entrance for scale. The rock strata has formed in near vertical sweeping lines, almost at ‘1 o’clock to 7 o’clock.’ If you like.

[citation needed! However, the strength of a bundle of strands does not necessarily need to be the same as the sum of the strengths of each strand. Morever, the act still hurts, especially for new performers.
