So I love this law. Basically, California spends billions replacing gas lines on a regular basis to make sure they aren’t leaking. The bill identifies neighborhoods up for replacement; if the neighborhood prefers, they will shut off the gas line and buy everyone free electric appliances instead.
👀 ⚡🧵 Last week, California passed a law that lets whole neighborhoods electrify, shutting down gas pipelines that would otherwise need replacement. The law allows up to 30 pilot projects through 2030, requiring that 2/3 of affected property owners agree to get of gas. www.kqed.org/news/1200671...
The law will allow up to 30 neighborhoods to end gas utility service and swap out gas appliances for electric ones — at no cost to residents.
The more I think about it, the more I think bringing Geno back to Cincinnati would be both a good baseball move and fan-friendly. He actually hits enough to fill the role they wanted Candelario to fill last year. And he’s a good 3B, which is a spot that has lots of questions for the Reds.
There is no labor-related reason for any labor union to ever support a GOP candidate. Yes, this is stating the obvious. And yet, here we are.

Any Louisville friends missing their electric bill for the month. Mine normally shows up online mid-month, but nothing since August. I’d take free electricity, of course, but that doesn’t seem likely.

We went out to visit my folks today and took the scenic route back through rural southern Indiana. I am hopeful. There were 12 Trump signs, 3 Harris, and 1 Kennedy. Four years ago, there would have been like 70 Trumps on the way back.
I am 4 miles away, am I seriously hearing Louder than Life this clearly?
