Our new paper in @Nature evaluates the accuracy of social and behavioral policy recommendations during COVID19 (from www.nature.com/articles/s41...www.nature.com/articles/s41...@ruggeri.bsky.social
The strongest evidence supported claims that anticipated culture, polarization and misinformation would be associated with policy effectiveness. Trusted leaders and social norms also increased adherence to behavioral interventions, as did appealing to social consensus or bipartisan agreement.
