I think that claim is dubious. Show me *one* student speaker that actually knows the details of their school’s investment portfolio and the specific mechanisms to change it.

Have you looked at the demands the protestors have? Divestment is a central one. Hell one university resolved their encampments problem by agreeing to listen to the students at a scheduled board/trustee meeting and agreeing to vote on divestment. Not even promising to do it.
