Enjoying several issues of this new gift, a weekly from San Diego in the 1930s-40s called The Keyhole. Lots of vice, general bad behavior, and ads for bars and night clubs targeted at Navy personnel. Sort of like the #c19#sleaze#bookhistory
Chinese Village was a big deal!
The depraved exhibitionist gets the headlines in pic#2, though the text slightly above it about the illegal San Diego abortionist using rusty implements is the news.
