I saw my doctor and got blood work done 2 months ago and have another appointment in 9 days. I'm hoping for some resolution and some definitive diagnosis... Worried a lot about the health these days and I'm just trying to keep a positive outlook. I wanna be around a long time.
Been doubling up the effort on a few things to try to adjust: - no more candy, and reduced chips/carbs snacks by ~80% - walking and trying to reach 3 to 4 peloton sessions a week, pending ankle healing - eating a load of salad, baked chicken pitas - loads of veggies errday
Body lately: - tore ligaments in ankle - flagged as pre diabetic. Told to reduce carbs and sugars, fats. - bloating/anema in legs and body. Things don't fit. Legs swollen. - extreme fatigue… often going to bed at 7pm these days, no time for my own activities or projects
Extra tips: - bring hats and sunscreen - bring activities for the kids in line - get a map from staff - don't cut lines 😔 - get a lost kids sticker
The Teddy Bear picnic is insane. The lines are bananas. Lots to do though. Bring sunscreen and patience! 😂
It’s pretty funny that Tucker’s “best and most honest popular historian” is just some guy who has a podcast with human forehead Jocko Willink
New, great list to subscribe to, to keep these kinds of accounts oxygen-deprived and bored. We don't have to recreate Twitter here, and lists like this are a great step to help with that.
I sure am trying to change the habits and the diet for the long term. It's not easy, but the pita wraps are a great way to make it easy. Fresh roasted chicken, diced veggies, salad mix and a cream mustard dressing. I'm happy.
