LOVE that movie. Also highly recommend What's Up Doc? in which she is exactly as Bugs Bunny-like as the title would indicate, and it's GREAT.
The screenshot is the word count target function in Scrivener! It tracks progress on a single project. For overall tracking across projects for the year I use Excel or Airtable.
I'm not doing #FinishUrBookFall or anything but after drafting a novel in 2 months this summer I decided to see if I could do it again this fall. So far it looks like I can. Not long ago I thought I might never write a book again. This is the 3rd one I've written in 2024. So. This feels good.
An important note: there are full transcripts of each comic on the site, with panel descriptions designed to make the comics legible for those who use screen readers or have difficulty reading comics for any reason!
Hi. We’re a group of comic book writers & artists who are furious about Project 2025, The Heritage Foundation’s plan to consolidate power under authoritarian rule. So we made a bunch of comics to explain their agenda and move you to vote against it. stopproject2025comic.org
Trump's Project 2025 is a detailed plan to shut you up, and shut you out. Don’t let it do either. Read on, then vote.
Over at Book Riot, I wrote about Classic Comics You Can Skip. Shots may have been fired: bookriot.com/classic-comi...
We can acknowledge the impact of the classic comics and also critique them. So skip these classics, if you want, and read these instead.

Imagine how good he would be at saying "Horses" on a road trip whenever there were horses somewhere. He'd be SO good at it. Dog of war and also of saying "horses!"
I love how Kirby is completely unafraid to use double or even triple exclamation marks. Like, Stan Lee loved him an exclamation mark, but Kirby is like "Oh yeah?? Watch this!!!" on truly the most innocuous of statements. (Remember when Orion saw a horse???!!!)
1. The first Captain America movie with @mackenziewalton.bsky.social@oliviacirce.bsky.social and a half-full theater of people shrieking with horrified laughter.
