Absurd to call "crime is falling" a lie by citing data that shows crime has declined over the past year. It's literally true. People are allowed to use "falling" to refer to a recent downward trend, rather than, say, the whole last decade. Discrediting to writer, paper, and fact-checkers. Thread👇
