I'm finding lots of entertainment on LinkedIn seeing how they don't understand retirement. Because "place of work" is a required field, I get nonsense such as this: (I've been retired for 6 years).

The photo was taken at the mausoleum of Frederick Huth, a banker, in Kensal Green Cemetery. I'm a tour guide there and used to mention it. Not so much now.

I can see the tow-line, but I also see that the Pamir's sails are full of wind. Perhaps either preparing to be towed, or ending the tow.

I quite understand that. For me, because his work expresses a moral attitude, that is now tainted, so I don't think I can enjoy it any more. That might not be such an issue for morally neutral art.

I think the particular problem here is that his art is so at odds with what's emerging. Other artists in the same position haven't shown such distinctive moral positions. Actually, that makes it far worse, it's a betrayal and that generates complex reactions. I've cancelled a purchase.

The GBeebies account is now blocked by over 6000 people. With a little bit of effort, they could end up in the top 20 list of blocked accounts! Only need about 8000 blockers to get there! Now there's an effort with making.

Always think of that when I pass this mausoleum in Kensal Green Cemetery.
