I think I read an earlier version of this along with the "faculty" web posting. My suggestion is, if you are able, take it upon yourself/yourselves to post the entire corpus of data that Taibbi obtained. Then whenever you see a quote out of context, you can follow up with a different perspective.

It was back in his Russia days; he published the pictures of his vile prank. People who are just learning how terrible he is have missed a lot.
