I think it's funny they specifically cite the 80s when this was true of the decades BEFORE the 80s, too. Yes, if you can believe it, people lived entire lifetimes with payphones, paper maps, daily newspapers, huge vehicles, and not knowing exactly what was on a menu before you got to a restaurant.
At a Goodwill off the beaten path for me, & I found this behemoth of an old LCD TV. Didn't buy it, but it sure looks like something.
The singing and dancing incel clown movie needs to hit half a billion dollars or else it's a loss feels like an end of an era headline

I remember really enjoying Ice Hockey when I played it on Atari Anthology for PS2 back in the day, as I never had the cart back when I owned a 2600. It also has one of the absolute greatest TV ads from that era, without a doubt.

Should Capcom decide to make Sodom DLC for Street Fighter 6, the only way to go would be to have his Japanese voice actor be his English voice, while his English voice actor would be his Japanese voice, and both sides purposefully mangle the other language. It'd be 100% appropriate for Sodom.
Ever wonder why Street Fighter has a character named Sodom who, despite that name, has no connection to anything biblical or sexual? I wrote up the whole story + how that name makes sense with the fact that he speaks very bad Japanese. www.thrillingtalesofoldvideogames.com/blog/street-...
And is this the best name for a guy who’s most prominent trait is liking Japanese culture?
To be fair, the modern slang people tend to use is ballin', as I can't recall ever hearing or seeing "balling" used with the g included, even back in the 00s (which is when I recall first hearing the word used as slang). That said, I can totally see ballin' having originated from balling.
