One of the counties closest to NYC is likely to ban masks. NYC mayor & NY governor want to ban masks. We have a good shot at stopping this self destructive policy, but I need people who don't normally care about covid to care about this. #NoMaskBans#NoNYMaskBancovidadvocacyny.org

I find it difficult to believe ANY mask ban will stand up in court. Too many people these days have various reasons to be imuno-compromised. (Long Covid being one of the best & most recent NEW reasons.) There would be scores of immunologists& other doctors willing to stand up in court about this.

I have long covid and regularly traveled to NYC from Vermont for medical care before I became too disabled to travel. There are many "medical tourists" to NYC. My family lives in NYC and Nassau County. Even if there is a medical exemption this will make things harder for the disabled community.
