It’s so funny and noticeable how only left leaning spaces get called “echo chambers.” Only left wing people get told we need to learn to see other people’s perspectives and understand their motivations. Do conservatives want to be understood, or do they want to dominate conversations?

The right is more homogenous than the left, whose political power is coalition-based. While they all may disagree with the right they do need to be understanding of other parts of that coalition.

I see certain liberal types who reference echo chambers constantly, too. It’s irritating.

Because most of us were not raised by radical leftists. We know the conservative mindset perfectly well because it’s not like they’re shy about speaking their minds.

There are plenty of right wing "echo chambers". I've heard places called that before. Truth Social, 4chan, etc.

they don't even care if a space is genuinely left leaning, just that we *have* to listen to their stupid ass (while also not speaking back or other consequences to their opinions)

Conservative complaints about social media are about entitlement, not any ethic of inclusivity. In the physical world, they carefully curate their social, professional, communal and religious lives around enforced ideological homogeneity.
