i thought Reddit CEO Steve Huffman came off bad in his interview with The Verge this new one with NBC News is disqualifying Reddit's unpopular changes were inspired by Elon Musk's layoffs & cost-cutting (like not paying bills) at Twitter. insane.
Well there is a lot of opportunities in this strategy just not for Twitter or Reddit. Musk's Twitter inspired me apply for BlueSky and the reddit drama left a whole my invite filled.
From my perspective, the only thing he's accomplished is making guys like me — who didn't know him from Adam — despise him ala Elon.
Every day I learn new ways to be frustrated at the fact that thermonuclear incompetence is a requirement for any position of mass influence or leadership. It even seems to outpace their unfathomable greed.
So reddit is doomed huh ?
Attempting to do Musk things without the Musk cult / fortune
No redemption for anyone inspired by a guy running a business so badly it tanks the stocks of his other businesses
He said pure gibberish to avoid saying I'm a cheap prick.
Imagine seeing someone kill their company’s value like Musk has done and being like “we should do that too!”
Wasn't he claiming that the Reddit changes wouldn't be like Twitter and that it was a false equivalence just a while ago?
