Idea: browsers and mobile OS should track layout shift and cancel taps/clicks that occur within a certain window (200ms?) of them. Brought to you by the hundredth time I've not actually wanted to cast to my kitchen display instead of my TV thank you.
I sympathize with the idea that remote work stunts the growth of junior devs but can't relate. I worked remotely since college. Other than 6mo in person for a startup accelerator never had an in-office job until Google (which is now fully remote). Probably depends on the dev.

Can bsky posts be backdated? Kinda curious about building a tool to import historical tweets...
Oh, also doing the inverse - taking someone else's proposed solution and turning it to different angles to see if it fits the different shapes of the problem space as I understand it. Then I ask questions when I'm not sure.
My job is essentially ingesting a bunch of context about a problem and then just letting it bounce around in my head combining with existing knowledge until the right bits stick together and a proposed solution falls out. Then I write that down in a doc.
Instead of calling things here skeets, they should be bosts (Bluesky posts). The homonym just makes it funnier.
@kelseyhightower.com noticed the same thread on Twitter and here. Are you manually reposting or do you have a tool?
@support.bsky.team is there any developer documentation for search? I'd like to build a simple tool to monitor bsky for mentions of my compan 🙂
Can confirm Firebase does this for cost reasons - while minting certs has gone to $0 with Let's Encrypt, hosting certs for huge numbers of customers can get very expensive. We "compact" many domain onto one cert to make free custom domains possible for our customers.
