There's a dominant narrative that people who still take COVID precautions for personal, collective, and communal care have not "moved on" from the pandemic, when in fact we are the ones who have evolved, and the rest of the world refuses to, with devastating consequences.

It's frustrating that I have proved to my boss's how general illness mitigation saves the company money and nobody cares. "Look how much absences decreased with air quality control!"
That's an excellent and logical take on the situation.
Flew on a packed flight recently, there was only 1 person other than my wife and I masking. No one cares and the virus just keep mutating and spreading. Masking and vaccines work. I’ve not only never had covid, i’ve not had a cold since the start of the pandemic
As the only person at my job who still masks in public indoor spaces, I appreciate this so much.
Oh I see. "COVID is here now, so get over it." I hate seeing the elderly badgered in the street for wearing masks.
Wife and I still mask when shopping or attending indoor events. We recently had the latest COVID booster plus flu shot. Neither of us has had COVID. It has been decades since we have had flu or a cold.
YES. i grew and adapted. they didn’t. my thing took strength.
