I mean, Trump has been very clear that he thinks anyone who doesn’t vote for him is stupid (and often worse). It’s just that the media and voters only expect democrats to respect the other side.

I wish she would’ve looped back and pointed to this question when she called him out for only playing an edited sound bite. “You asked why they’re supporting him? Maybe it’s because this is how you report the news, only telling half the story and sane-washing him.”

He’s trying to get her to say “those people” are stupid. It’s a trap question they are hoping will generate a headline.

A lot of journalists, not just on Fox, have been trying to goad Harris into a "deplorables" moment and she wisely isn't taking the bait.
