found a dimly lit pizza place with pun name pizzas, One Punch Man being projected on the walls, bespoke energy drinks and they're blasting a Simple & Clean remix either about to have a religious experience or a new type of food poisoning

remember staying up all night on a school night and being a zombie in school in the next day but i just did not want to stop reading the sphere (lol, of all books). absolutely fascinated by it. it makes me sad to think there are kids who are being denied this great pleasure

For totally real romance reasons and not any fake reasons yes, and I think my cat would be fine with another person to routinely pet her

“Left the country to have the debate.” Man, we already did that, it’s called the election! Isn’t he just saying “I would have forced another election until Trump legitimately won”?

It also blows my mind to see people around my age act like it was awesome to be in college and then a young adult in the late 2000s and early 2010s Did they somehow miss the part where no one could find a job? did they memory hole that? i mean i too enjoy MGMT but that didn't really COMPENSATE

This is what's so infuriating about people trying to retcon 2010s austerity as some genius political jiu-jitsu instead of a huge failure. Long term unemployment in your 20s is insanely damaging.

Yeah so many people are terrified of not immediately knowing exactly what’s coming that they refuse to even consider it. It’s sad to be honestly, what went wrong in your life that you’re afraid of something new or different?

Completely agree. I have two friends who haven’t read a new book since college or watched a new movie in years, all they do is consume the same things over and over, and they’re like almost proud of it? It’s like, “you know your time on earth is finite,‘right? You need to expand your horizons.”

It sucks that people are (RIGHTFULLY!!) afraid of criticizing art because of (CORRECT) fear of reprisal. Says a lot about “fans” of “art” when they can’t handle dissenting voices, even constructive criticism. So understand why you’ve hesitated on this one. I like it, but it’s not beyond critique.
