If you want to cast a protest vote against Biden you are welcome to, but I do think we should wrestle with the reality that doing so increases the odds that Trump will have an opportunity to appoint about 240 more far-right judges who will strike down every policy you care about.

...and let Thomas and Alito retire to be replaced by Trump with young idealogues who will hold down those seats for the next 30+ years. Whereas under Biden + Dem Senate they're old enough that they might just die naturally offering the opportunity to flip the SC (and allow Sotomayor to retire).

How does one justify protest voting against one bad policy and, as a byproduct, helping elect a man who will implement every bad policy?

The protest voters performatively care about other people but actually don't. They believe that they will somehow be immune to the consequences of their decision. Could be because they're rich and white, could be because they think they already have it as bad as it can get, who knows.

Perhaps the DNC should have mentioned this to Joe Biden and suggested that he not spend over half a year materially supporting genocide.

Do YOU care about those policies, by chance?

It’s really that simple.

Some still refuse to admit they were wrong about 2016.

If we can never do better than Biden how does that not happen?
