I think it’s not aimed at Jews. It’s aimed at people who: a) hate Muslims and believe (antisemitically) that all Jews do too b) feel (antisemitically) that they are kind of the same as Jews because their culture taught them (antisemitically) that Christianity has superseded Judaism
Speaking as someone whose children do regular anti-terrorist drills at their school in London because of the possibility of antisemitic attacks, I have skin in this particular game. And yet the Jenrick/Truss bullshit about placing a Star of David at the UK border makes me literally nauseous.
