I think you know that is not what I mean by curing autism. I had made the comparison to helping paraplegics walk, or rather giving them the ability to walk again. I want that for autism.

"think you know that is not what I mean by curing autism." and i think you know that i didn't claim this is what you meant. i very explicitly state that this is a description of the most likely form a "cure" will take. what people wish and what is probable are hardly synonymous.
