slightly off topic question- but are artists happy to answer if i have questions? sometimes i really wanna ask them how exactly they did such and such-- but i feel annoying doing so lol. but im at a point in art where i kinda *need* that help.

At worse, someone should just say 'sorry I don't do Q n A's' or not reply at all. But if they are the kind to get mad, chances are you will see them blow up at someone else long before you and that is your cue to seek info in better waters.(and support better folks at the same time).

SO every artist is different, right? So no solid answer. I can say that folks i roll with happily answer questions about their own work and how they did some things so long as a huge long tutorial isn't the expected response.
