There should be switched power under the fuse box, I can’t remember which lug but if you take off the kick panel under the dash/wheel, you should see 4 or 5 lugs under the fuse panel

I see this all the time too and I can’t help but think it’s too bad it doesn’t lead more people to empathize with the people forced to live in conditions that lead to the misery people are trying to numb with dangerous and addictive substances.

I’ve done dozens of these, never needed glue for the foam. It should stay in place. The hardest part is reindexing the frame into the door so it seals well against the body- hopefully you marked the shims, if not, don’t clean it and look for the dirt spots
