I think that's the natural consequence of opting for a film trilogy rather than a 144-episode TV series - although I've just watched the Buffy one, and you're right, the first few questions in particular ("Name Willow" and "What creature was Oz?") took the piss rather.

Absolutely. I'm not someone who's very anti-Chibnall - his run isn't my favourite, but it had some high points as it went on - but I think he was always there to make a TV series, rather than nurture a brand.
