Tracy Chapman's original 'Fast Car' hits #1 on iTunes after Grammys performance
Tracy Chapman's timeless 'Fast Car' races to the top of iTunes after her captivating performance at the Grammys alongside country sensation Luke Combs.
I love Tracy Chapman. I hate that it took a white male to get her the recognition she deserved decades ago. I’m happy that said white male at least promotes Tracy any chance he gets. I’m not taking a dig at Luke. Society, you’re suspect!
Obviously. Finally all these young people are like “oh, so that’s what it’s supposed to sound like? Yeah, that’s way better.”
It’s way better too
Always was a great song. Glad it’s being revisited
Much deserved!
Hopefully next folks will revive Talkin' about a Revolution; An anthem whose message seems more on-point every year since it was written. Brilliance. www.youtube.com/embed/7QHNC4...
Luke Combs is not my cup o' tea, but he did right by Tracy.
Awesome. That gorgeous song took me by the lapels and shook my dumb little self until I understood how tiny 'my problems' were. I swear it made me evolve emotionally.
I went back and listened to her entire discography this past year. Def recommend!
