Read in your email just now about the slides. When my f-in-law died he left 95 carrousels of kodachrome slides from the 50s - 80s. We had them scanned by Scan Cafe and they did a good job. Love the results. For what that's worth. Good luck!

A photograph from the 1950s where you have three women and two men sitting around a card table playing Monopoly. There is a baby bassinet in the background and an empty chair for the photographer in the foreground.
A photograph from the 1950s, exterior, picture of a young man in slacks and short-sleeved shirt standing in front of a small, sporty car in grey and white. The street is obviously a residential street as you can see trees and a house behind the car.
An image of a beach on a lake with float planes being loaded with supplies, and small boat pulled up onto the sand.
1950s Chinatown in San Francisco. A street scene with cars parked along the street in front of gift and souvenir shops with gaudy and even neon-lit signs.

There are people who cannot accurately type their email addresses if their life depended on it. I've got about 6 of them from Arizona to Florida to West Virginia. I got Door Dash and Uber Eats from one, emails from their kid's science teacher from another, and once collection notifications. Sigh.

Fantastic! Just started the series and I'm loving it.

Gorgeous. I've recently been scanning through hundreds of Japanese woodblock prints from the Meiji into the 1940s and this reminds me so much of my favorite kinds. Love the clouds and the whole atmosphere.

Reminder to new users here: The Samual Isaacs who made pens in Philly was NOT related to Leon Isaacs who made the Glucinum Pens in Philly, before the sale of the Leon Isaacs brand to Turner & Harrison in 1900. Samuel Isaacs was the brother of Rebecca Jacobs of London Incandescent Pens of Chicago.

It’s when you’ve added the sixth shot of whiskey to the daily tea that you know it’s really wild. I’m close.

tamagotchi but instead you have to balance their humours. sometimes they need food; other times, less blood. all the little guys are illustrations done by monks of animals they’ve never seen

selfpromosaturday - GREETINGS (your name here). I have a shop. This shop has rad things. Buying one of these things ups your radness quotient by at least 60%. It's a scientific fact. artificer.threadless.com
