Any thoughts or suggestions from frog whisperers? I did buy a tree frog house that has a water reservoir in it to keep froggies cool but it’s yet to arrive

I found a little frog repeatedly in a large plant pot sheltering in the wet soil. I have the top of the pot covered with a towel to stop it drying out in the intense heat & I keep removing the frog as I’m worried that it might get trapped in there and bake if it dries out & gets too hot in there.

Which #nativeplants have you found most prone to naturalizing, "escaping cultivation," or otherwise ending up somewhere you did not put them? A few of the biggest winners of this title in my yard ... 🌱 Penstemon, both P. hirsutus and P. digitalis Blue mistflower Blue wood aster Self-heal

Hello, friends! Volunteer butterfly weed that sprang up across the garden from our main patch. Our third summer here, and we're starting to see more and more volunteers, which is always a nice surprise. Like the garden is taking on a life of its own design. 🌱

Moss is a beautiful thing too. Look at this forest floor in the Japanese garden
