What's the leftist plan to fight mass deportations? Who is currently working on this? [Actual questions]
I’m not even sure how this would be effectuated in practice - ramping up road checkpoints? (no), more workplace raids? (doubtful), ICE dragnet ops in immigrant neighborhoods? (Most likely imo) I think the first step is to try and understand how he’d actually try to do it

Voting Harris in the first instance, hopefully (followed by a solid Plan B for if she loses)
Remember when we occupied airports and body blocked/booted vans to keep Trump's first ethnic cleansing from happening I mean I hope voting and prosecuting is enough, god I hope it's enough, but car boots are still like $25 online and everyone ought to have a camera drone by now
“Working on this” is voting for Harris
leftist response is gaza genocide gaza gaza genocide gaza
I read the replies looking for actual answers; idk what I expected my tiny shrinking rural school district that the community loves is about 25% kids who speak Spanish at home, I think it is worth engaging with local electeds and the school admin but idk if anyone yet is actively doing it
The only way those deportations (and other fascist shit) get shut down is if communities turn out, enmassse, and form human shields so large it forces the pigs to back off and media to cover. Phone chains, defense networks organisations, willingness to stand off and underground railroad families etc
I don't think there is one; if there is, it's not being disseminated. Everyone is either focused on mutual aid for Helene and/or Milton, fundraising/protesting for Palestinians, or continuing their prison abolitionist work. None of that seems like a bad use of time/energy. None of that is enough.
