It was a simulation. Students were playing Premiers and PM, and Nat Res and Env Ministers from Canada, BC, AB, SK, QC, NF. Still smiling at what a fantastic job they did, including having to dig into the policy docs.
Agreed the govt’s communication could always be better, but we tend to overlook that the biggest challenge to public understanding is the simultaneous wave of misinformation. Those getting their info from the Conservative Party greatly overestimate costs and underestimate benefits rel to others.

I expect they will call all climate measures they don't like (hmm, maybe leaving ZEV rebates and transit investments?) a carbon tax.
