Unless you live in a swing state, it is 100% a cheerlead for her. And no matter where you live, it is a vote for continuation of the most well-documented genocide in history. If the future of our country depends on that continuation then our country deserves no future.
The situation we are now in requires much more of those in power than their dissent, respectful or otherwise. If the Biden administration remains unwilling to act to stop whatâs coming, they will be as complicit as the republicans.
If they do anything to block project 2025 now, the âonly your vote can save democracy this Novemberâ messaging wonât work. If they start talking about it now, people might pressure them to block it. And they are putting 100% of their eggs in the âmost important election of your lifetimeâ basket.
Thank you for the thread Peter. I agree with much of it, and as Iâve pointed out before, this fear instilled in voters is the most important part of the Democratsâ platform. Protecting our rights, for example by codifying Roe, would mean that they cannot hold our votes hostage anymore.
You two are exactly right, and I fear that the US is burying the lede of not only slavery and Jim Crow, but our countryâs very founding.
