Randle has missed many of the Knicks important stretches recently. He's talented, but not necessary to their build. And losing him makes it easier to play a lot of Hart-Bridges-OG minutes.
Giving up only a protected 1st in the deal is also good business for NY. Knicks had no C capable of 20+ min for at least half the season. Now they have one, and can afford to bring Robinson along gradually to ready him for the playoffs.
As a non-Knicks NBA person: this trade is just pure win for the Knicks. Losing DDV hurts on an emotional level, but he's a depth piece. You lose those in big trades, it's unavoidable. KAT is a better player at a position of higher need and an easier fit than Randle for this Knicks roster.
(or anything in between, of course). This was very good and on this topic a few days ago, if you missed it prospect.org/politics/202...
Presidential polls are no more reliable than they were a century ago. So why do they consume our political lives?
The only thing polling can really tell us, it seems, is a fairly accurate view of how the race has moved over time within a single election cycle. So, a medium to large improvement in D chances now vs spring/early summer. But whether those odds went from 25% to 30% of 55% to 90% we have no idea.
Wait I'm not the only person who unironically loves this album?
Tonight is McLaurin's 83rd game. A new QB for the graphic every 7.5 games. Incredible.
Why did they change Boomer's segment from the "Fastest 3 Minutes" to the "Fastest Minute"?
Neal Stephenson anticipated this trend in "Fall, or Dodge in Hell" (2019) in a way I found horrifying yet incredibly insightful.
âWhat was alarming to me is that in most of these scenarios, when the pastor would say, âIâm literally quoting Jesus Christ,â the response would not be, âI apologize.â The response would be, âYes, but that doesnât work anymore. Thatâs weak,ââ Moore said." newrepublic.com/post/174950/...
A former evangelical leader is sounding the alarm about the direction his religion is headed in.
Big impact on fantasy ranks. Robinson goes from a massive bargain to a player to avoid. Big boosts for Josh Hart and Precious Achiuwa

The Knicks thin center rotation took a big hit with the news Mitchell Robinson wonât be available for the first couple months of the season.
