I do not want to see Nazis or spend time trying to understand the motivations of Nazis and if that means that I am part of an “echo chamber” sign me up also nobody calling it that has ever spent five minutes trying to get leftists to agree on anything
It is the civil stance to block/ignore Nazis. Merely not being willing to engage with them *is* civility.
Curiously, I've never met an out and out Nazi in the course of my normal life, they're surprisingly shy. I'm sure they exist but they must move through my world as liberals. Bit weird really bless 'em.
It has been my experience that conservatives only want to dominate conversations.
Right?! It's 100% just them being upset that we have a viable alternative to staying on Twitter.
9 times out of 10 when I disagree with a fellow leftist, we talk it out in a chill manner. 9 times out of 10 when I disagree with a conservative, they call me a commie and start hurling insults or just block me.
No. But I also don't see a lot of what this poster is remarking on, either.
I guess I’m on the rightward edge of BlueSky so yeah, there’s a slant here, but I have no trouble finding lots of conversations with people who disagree with me enough to be interesting but not so much that the conversation is pointless. There *are* people further to my right that I miss here…
When I spend too much time dunking on and arguing at bigots it’s usually because that comes much easier than getting agreement from lefties. 😂
I disagree!
The idea that there is such a thing as a leftist echo chamber is laughable. We would eat our young rather than agree on foreign policy or any number of issues
