You don't have to qualify a condemnation of the brutal and deliberate murder of innocent human beings. It requires no "on the other hand." You can and ought to just be against it.

Was this a US intel failure? Short thread I say this with no inside knowledge of our intelligence programs but US intel efforts, to include SIGINT and IMINT, are not all seeing eyes that suck up & process everything around the world. These are, like everything else, prioritized

The Hamas operation is of course horrific & morally inexcusable. But it seems to have already accomplished what I view as its main political objective: killing rapprochement between Saudi Arabia and Israel. Keep in mind that winning vs losing a war is determined by political outcomes, not military.
