I wonder how many people have died bc of this. I know I'm more prone to accidents and not thinking through impulsive choices when I can't get my meds. So how many car accidents, just for starters, has this shortage caused? What's the DEA's death count just from *this* shortage *they* caused?

It's... Not great. As soon as I was done my local briefings/advisories this morning, I popped open a satellite view on Milton and cringed. When the storm surge map was released... If it verifies... 😬 I can only imagine how exhausted all of Florida is at this point. And anxious.

A rain/snow line is just one of those things you draw with your heart every time. I once got as far as explaining that once I knew where the low was, I could sort out the line. And got right back to 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ as soon as I was asked how I knew the low would be somewhere else.

The problem comes when you have to explain it to someone you're training. One of my first bosses had such a defeated tone by the time I'd told like the 5th new hire that I just "make it up" after they asked how I knew to make certain changes to a forecast. 😂

This was exactly my first thought. It's been 7 years... That feels like plenty of time for them to have come up with something to not put the system in this position again.

I own so many solely because of the fact that they play just so. Freaking. Well. with my shimmer inks. They even do alright when I accidentally add too much shimmer potion lol.

And honestly, if you want fancy, looks somewhat old-fashioned, and it's a piston filler, I'd go with the Lamy 2000 (at least of the ones I own lol). Unless you want color at all, then Pelikan M200/M205. The Lamy is larger & has a somewhat wider grip, and I think is a little comfier to hold.

Any cartridge is refillable, it involves a blunt tipped syringe. It's fairly simple, I just don't do it because I'm a clumsy mess lol.

There's less feedback on the broader nibs... And don't get a fine or even Medium Fine if you want glitter lol. It will not work. At all. If you would prefer to try the nib on a cheaper pen, the Sailor Compass 1911 has a very similar nib. But it only comes in Medium Fine as far as I know.
