As far as I'm concerned anyone telling people not to vote, in this election or any other, is doing for malign purposes, and the only correct response is "Well now I am going to vote EVEN HARDER."
Vote as a form of protection from the worst people who want nothing good for you or others unlike them.
"Just for that, I'm voting for Joe Brandon 10 times."

The way I have put it: If someone is trying to keep you from voting, including by discouragement, it means they are scared of your vote.
He just doesn't want US to vote....
Heck yeah! Especially in this situation. One of my worst nightmares since I learned about it as a kid in the '50s is hovering in the wings and I wanna help swat it!
