Same as always: 1. Find/make time to write; 2. Accept you will suck at it for a while, just like everyone else did; 3. Find joy in it if you can.

I started taking flute lessons in the spring and went from barely making a sound to playing songs (badly) by playing for 15-30 minutes most days. It has been quite a reminder about the power of practice and necessity of working through the suckage.
