One thing I've noticed is the working musicians I know aren't haters. They have preferences, of course, but it's rare to hear "can you believe so-and-so is popular?" Many will carefully study music they dislike. Fans, on the other hand, are invariably deranged haters.

Thing is, Republicans DO believe elections are legitimate, which is why they devote such energy towards partisan gerrymandering and vote suppression efforts, which happen way ahead of vote counting.
